ANGIE HARMON

Harmon was born in Highland Park, Texas to Lawrence Paul “Larry” Harmon and Daphne Demar. Her father was an administrator of a hospital information system in Dallas and mother is a descendant of Greek immigrants, while the father is of Irish, Scottish and Cherokee (American Indians) ancestry. Both worked as professional models in the 1970s. They divorced in 1982 and their father remarried later.

Texan actress and director Angie Harmon bore one of the most recognizable faces in the 1990s. She earned her first major acting credit through the beloved TV show Baywatch where she worked with established actor David Hasselhoff who took an interest in her. She landed an even bigger role on the NBC crime series Law & Order as assistant district attorney Abigail “Abbie” Carmichael. Harmon continues to act to this day, appearing in the serial drama Rizzoli & Isles as police detective Jane Rizzoli. She no longer takes on a ton of projects like she used to since she spends much of her time with her family.
